Report on Lancaster tournament

Last Saturday saw 6 of our newest members and a few helping hands head up to Lancaster for a pre-season beginners tournament. The early morning start not withstanding (7.30am on a Saturday!) the day proved to be a great success with the team coming 4th out of the 12 teams there on the day.

Thanks to a sterling defence by Jane, Diana & Cat the opposition had to fight for every inch of the court, whilst Tom, Michael & Graham were intercepting throws left, right & centre.

Special thanks go to John for his invaluable refereeing & Chris F. & Leanne (a.k.a Mother Hen) for helping out and guiding the team to such a success.

Here's hoping the Renegades go from strength to strength in the season ahead.
