Report on Leeds quadrangle tournament

A few hiccups on the journey across to Leeds with only Sue managing not to head the wrong way down the M1 – a trip to Wakefield wasn’t  on the “to do” list for the day! The 5-team tournament produced mixed results for the Manchester squad and whilst the Johnsons sipped cocktails by the pool in Turkey those left behind pulled off a respectable third place finish.

Leeds look like the team to beat this year and after some close games against them in summer tournaments they are definitely the team we want to beat. Victories against Castle and Leicester helped raise the mood after losing out in the first two games to Leeds and Trotters. Thank you to Thea for giving up her Saturday to some along and coach the squad.
