Report on Manchester quadrangle tournament

The day didn’t get off to a flying start (those responsible for the great post-gate scandal of 2009 are not ready to laugh yet) but by 3pm the Bengals flag was flying high over the Velodrome in what was good preparation for the season ahead. It was great to see some old faces (don’t be offended, Helen) and some new faces turn out to get everyone back in the swing in time for the new season.
Chris Cantor lit up the playing field with 2 goals on his debut and congratulations go to Diana, who looked like she was already part of the woodwork! Our friends from Castle and CanKorf came along to give us a game and there was a close finish in the end with Bengals finishing 1st with 4 points, followed closely by Renegades and Castle on 3 points and with CanKorf not far behind with 2 points.
